Our Business Development Managers (BDMs) work in a highly successful team who have an industry-leading reputation for delivering outstanding results. All of our BDMs have a level of autonomy and scope to positively impact the business’ results.
Our BDMs are responsible for identifying and pursuing suitable, high-priority sales targets and to develop and implement effective strategies to successfully capture important opportunities.
A significant part of this role is building and maintaining customer relationships via regular meet ups, phone calls and emails. Each member of the BDM team maintains weekly metrics and an appropriate revenue pipeline.
We are looking for confident go-getters who have a proven track record of building professional relationships – from architects, distributors and contractors all the way through to the end customer. These relationships will contribute towards sustainable sales opportunities not only for products but also aftersales, including accessories and service plans.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
· A proven track record of new business development, working with both new and existing customers to deliver demonstrable growth in a high-end brand environment.
· An organised and persuasive manner, with the proven ability to generate leads.
· An ability to develop and utilise commercial awareness providing quantifiable business benefits.
· An active team player who shows commitment to the broader organisation, working together with the team and adding value to achieve success.
· A natural drive to exceed targets balanced with delivering world-class customer service.
· Experience in a similar role (12 months or more) - it is essential that the candidate can refer to some key wins and revenue growth.
