Zip Water to collaborate with Umbrella Furniture at Clerkenwell Design Week 2019

Along with functionality, design is at the very heart of our business, so we are delighted to be heading to this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.

As the exclusive drinking water provider at Umbrella Furniture’s Umbrella & Friends’ three-day event, from 21-23 May, we will be on-hand to help visitors find out more about our innovative and environmentally-responsible mains-fed filtered drinking water systems.

Providing sustainable access to filtered water has never been more important. The shocking use of plastic bottles within the UK – 38.5 million every day, 15 million of which are not recycled* – has resonated with all of us, but more needs to be done. At this event guests will be able to fill reuseable bottles quickly and easily, with our pure-tasting filtered chilled and sparkling water. Not only do our systems remove the need for single-use plastic bottles, but our energy saving features and air-cooling technology mean not a drop of water is wasted.

Available in six different styles and seven finishes, the Zip HydroTap is the ultimate drinking water product for both functionality and sustainable design, providing instant filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water at the touch of a button.

Design and wellbeing both take centre stage at the ‘Umbrella + Friends’ event, with key features including a showcase of the latest product launches from this year’s design fairs, panel discussions and presentations, an indoor garden with games and activities and a Bali themed wellness space, where guests can sign-up for a free massage, indulge in a tea tasting or drop by for an essential oils workshop.

We will also be giving guests the unmissable opportunity to win a free HydroTap for their home. Attendees need to simply drop a business card into the Zip ‘fishbowl’ to be in with a chance to win their choice of HydroTap model and water function combination - in bright chrome, brushed chrome or matt black.
