How to recycle Zip Water CO2 canisters for HydroTap and HydroChill models

As part of our commitment to be the world’s leading sustainable provider of premium drinking water solutions, we’re proud to offer our customers complimentary CO2 canister recycling. So it’s never been easier to make the sustainable choice.

With HydroTap and HydroChill, you can enjoy chilled, sparkling water at the touch of a button. To enjoy all year round, you’ll need to replace your CO2 canisters when they’ve run out. If you’re a HydroCare member, then we’ll send you a reminder when you’re running low, and replace any used CO2 canisters for you.

What happens to my empty CO2 canisters?

Once finished with, simply return your used CO2 canisters to us and we’ll recycle them for you – completely free of charge.

To return your empty Zip Water CO2 canisters, please follow the instructions below:

1.  Visit royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/3452
2. Create your returns label online
3. Package your canisters and add your returns label to the parcel
4. Take parcel to your nearest Post Office

Our HydroTap and HydroChill ranges proudly promote a refill culture, which is estimated to save 340 million plastic bottles a year in the UK, according to water.org data.

Recycling not only helps to conserve natural resources but it saves energy and reduces emissions. Recycling metals also means less need for the risky and expensive mining of new materials, which in turn helps to protect valuable ecosystems and wildlife.
