Based from home and reporting to the field operations manager, service engineers are responsible for undertaking both planned preventative and reactive breakdown maintenance at a range of customer locations within a specific area. Successful candidates will demonstrate previous field service engineering experience.
Our service advisors work as part of a developing team to deliver world-class customer care. The team plays an integral part in helping Zip Water achieve both company targets and a high level of customer satisfaction, as well as communicating our key company values. This is an entry level role and offers the opportunity to for career progression.
Focused on supporting the commercial side of the business, we are looking for individuals with a great track record of building professional relationships with architects, interior designers and mechanical and electrical consultants to join our encouraging and proactive account management team.

Day to day activities: I ensure we receive the appropriate approvals for products and make sure the wider team is fully trained and up to date with product and technical knowledge. I also look after research, development and quality functions, such as supporting the quality team who complete inspections.

Day to day activities: I provide customers a first point on contact and support our account managers. My day usually involves ensuring customers are receiving Zip’s latest deals and offers and following up on sales leads.
Favourite aspect of the job: Speaking with our customers and thinking on feet to make sure any issues are resolved quickly.

Day to day activities: I am responsible for looking after my team, reporting on the work completed and making sure we maintain a high standard of work. We pride ourselves in being the best service fleet in the industry!

Day to day activities: I manage the technical team and the delivery of the aftermarket business to customers, ensuring products meet the highest of standards, deciding on strategy’s to best market a product and analysing gaps in sales to work out how to fill them.
Favourite aspect of the job: Helping in the development of the wider team and seeing them grow.

Day to day activities: Carrying out my duties as a field service engineer – which includes preventative maintenance work and attending breakdowns – while also taking care of my responsibilities as team leader.
Favourite aspect of the job: Speaking with customers and being as helpful as I can. I also enjoy ‘saving the day’ by returning the convenience of making a cup of tea to people.
Favourite thing about working at Zip: Being paid to do what I enjoy and feeling like I’ve achieved something at the end of the day. I love that at Zip I can speak to any person within the company, no matter their position. It feels like a small family business even though it’s global!
Day to day activities: I am often involved in creating, updating and proofing a range of marketing materials, managing messages from potential customers on the spec portal and supporting the sales team with marketing strategy.
Favourite aspect of the job: The variety – no day is ever the same. It is a very fast paced department which keeps me on my toes!
