Davidson Holdings own and manage manufacturing businesses in the HVAC, bathroom, heating, and plumbing markets.Two of their sites required a new water solution for staff and visitors. Talon is a 24 hour operation running a busy mould shop, including an administrative office and warehouse. With over fifty employees, “scheduling breaks to avoid ‘crunch times’ had historically been problematic” says Geoffrey Gestetner, Managing Director. At busy times, the kettle would need to be refilled and reboiled regularly to provide drinks for all staff, and as a result the queue for the kettle caused employees to lose their downtime waiting for a hot drink. Similarly, the Cistermiser and Keraflo site in Reading required a solution for both the canteen and large meeting room. Both of these rooms have many external visitors, so required a solution that would be intuitive and easy to use for those who have not used a wall-mounted boiler before. For both sites, the team knew that it was important to be able to provide boiling water for teas and coffees more quickly without constantly refilling a kettle, so that staff can enjoy a well-earned break between meetings, and visitors can enjoy a refreshment on arrival.
