With the new headquarters having a low carbon footprint, it was important to IM Properties that this theme carried through to each element. Nine Zip HydroTap Classics in matt black providing both filtered chilled and boiling water were installed throughout the building to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for the occupants’ drinking water needs. “Having a mains-fed drinking water system was key as it means we can minimise single-use plastic bottle waste and encourage staff to refill their own bottles,” adds project delivery director Jason Jasper. Not only do the HydroTaps fit with the building’s objectives and ethos but the tap design itself was a key factor. “Each aspect of the interior design was carefully thought through to create the collaborative feeling we were after. We chose the HydroTaps in matt black to perfectly match the colour palette of the building - the under-counter unit is compact too, helping save space.
